You're Doing it Wrong

Other than yawning at yet another public IRL dramafest, I haven't had much interest in the Imus thing.  I don't listen to him, don't watch him, don't care much about him.  But a lot of people are out there defending him for some reason. 

Look, he attempted lulz and failed.  Kinda like he's failing at youthiness.  Why does anybody want to waste precious lifespan defending him?  Let him deal with his own problems. 

Besides, how can anybody who doesn't personally know the man say he isn't racist?  Shit, we're all a little racist.  Racism isn't like some DIP switch that's either flipped on or off.  You can't flip somebody over, open their access panel and peer in like you used to be able to do on IBM keyboards. 

Racism is like every other human trait--it exists in all of us in varying degrees.  For instance, yellow teeth.  Your teeth aren't white or yellow--they're a shade of yellow.  Shades range from ivory white or, in your case, day old piss.

I'm a somewhat fan and regular listener of Howard Stern.  Been less a fan since Janet Jackson's tit flew out, after which he decided that everything associated with Bush was bad.  But that's another post.

Howard worked with Imus back in the 80's at WNBC (see Private Parts re: "doubleyouEEEENbeesee").  Ever since then, whenever Imus' name comes up, Howard spends the next hour ripping on him.  One of the classic rips is how Imus, possibly coked up, called one of the black WNBC employees a nigger.  To her face. 

Take the source of that with a grain of salt, if you must.  I don't think Howard would have made up somthing like that, especially since he's repeated it hundreds of times over the years.  But in my opinion (an opinion other than "yawn"), Imust lay in the bed he made.  Other than that, get it the fuck off my internets.
