Quote of the day

"Political correctness [is the] proposition that it is possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

If anybody can give me the author of that quote, I'd appreciate it.  A cursory google found lots of the quote but no attribution.

That's a good one. The author? My money's on Mr. A. Nonny Mouse, an employee of some organization that wouldn't appriciate cracks like that.

Actually, its snipped way down, which says to me that it came out of a book somewhere.  Google for the whole thing.
