You're Doing it Wrong

Heard this a couple times today.  "Person A is a hypocrite because they say this and do that."  People who love to point out hypocrites are the kind of folk who don't believe anything.  Why?  Because if they believe something they chance behaving contra to these beliefs.  And as soon as they do that, they too become hypocrites.

Well, guess what.  I'm a hypocrite.  And fuck you for caring.  I actually believe some stuff is wrong--even stuff I do on a regular basis.  Like eating junk food.  Is it good for people to eat ice cream cookie sandwitches?  Fuck no.  Do I eat them?  Just gimme one and I'll show you.  I'll eat the fuck outta it, and maybe if I'm lucky I won't bite off a finger in the process.

So, how did we end up in this sad state of affairs?  Well, to begin with, we were born human.  Boo fucking hoo.  We aren't perfect.  The only redeeming quality of humanity is that we actually strive for perfection.  We see our failures and try to do better.  Yes, we'll fail, but at least we try.

Except for the hypocrisy police.  They don't strive for perfection.  And that makes them the most imperfect of us all.  Fuck 'em.  Be a hypocrite.
