Had a minor personal outage last night. No, nothing to do with this post. I was messing with my template for posts last night and the website crapped out on me after I hit "save". The result is that I had half a template and nothing would render correctly anymore.
Pixy hooked me back up pretty quickly (thanks!) with an earlier version of the template. Word is a simple versioning system will be implemented eventually. But until then, copy your work before saving!
A better solution would be to get a lightweight HTML authoring program and use that to edit your templates. It might squawk about all the [foo.bar] nonsense, but it'll be easier to edit the HTML and CSS styles.
In case you douche your templates, you can get the standard templates at http://mee.nu/docs. The three that are up now are:
- Item.Post
- Page.Entry
- Index.Entry
An individual post on the front page (repeats for each post)
The page where readers enter comments on a post
