sort=updated
Well, Pixie got sorting fixed in the current release. Unfortunately, [posts:here sort=updated] considers that a comment is an update. So if you set sort=updated in your Entry template, when anybody comments on a post the whole thing gets bumped to the top.

Introducing the What the MotherFuck!?! kid. Please use on this blarg
whenever appropriate. There are four versions of the tag you can use.
Well, lets test this thing out shall we?

Silverlight?
Sometimes I don't get Microsoft. Usually, when MS is working on a new product, it assigns a codename to it. For instance, Vista's codename was "Longhorn." The next version of Visual Studio 2005 is called Orcas. At some point, the final name for the product is determined and the codename is dropped.

Reminds me of a joke...
Just got an email from my dad in which he tells me about a conference he's going to in a mountain city in Poland, the name of which reminds me of a joke...
A polak goes to the eye doctor. The doc holds a card over his left eye and says, "Read the last line." The polak goes "r-c-z-y-s-z-c-z-y-r-k." The doc looks at him, astonished. "You can read that??" "Not only can I read that, but I know the guy!"
I am curious (yellow (stain))
Some of the new mee.nuvians have been messing with their blarg's
HTML; fewer have been venturing from the default color scheme. For those who are thinking about changing colors, you're probably finding that a good scheme is harder to create than it should be. Well, there are tools that can help you find one.
Yeah. That's why my designs end up mostly white. It's just easier.

By the way, the comment.iphash tag has changed to comment.ip.hash as of today's release.

K, did you specifically change the IP hash algorithm so that it outputs your handle, or did you just cheat?

Snap previews and other stuff
Quick note: Among some of the stuff I'm adding to the blarg
are Snap previews for external links. If you don't like them, you can easily turn them off. Just check down near the bottom on the sidebar for the Snap Control.
Other stuff I've added includes a Technorati search control on the sidebar. What's Technorati? Well... its a live blarg
search thingie. And kind of an aggregator. And it helps push... traffic... or something. I'm not sure if I'll keep it. But for now it sits to the right and you can use it to search this blarg
. If you want to do the same, just click the link above and "claim your blarg
."
Slow weekend is sloooooow
I'm headed into work for a little 1 on 1 with my codebase. Might come across a good reason to post something. Until then, pls enjoy this fine image macro.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making the Snap previews separate links! Folks with high speed don't know how much of a nuisance Snap-i-fied links are to somebody on a dial-up. (Don't ask about dialup: Long story involving Amerit^H^H^H^H^H^H SBC^H^H^H AT&T blackhole in "Major Metropolitan Area" coupled with landlord who got into a fight with Comcast and threw them off the property.) Suffice it to say they're HOSTS-filed on my other machine.

Lol... I'm kinda surprised you don't like 'em because they're some new fangled consarn technology that all the kids are going on about today.
I kinda like them. They aren't live, and sometimes they only show error pages instead of the actual link. But the Snap people are a .NET development organization, which is relevant to my interests. And, because you can also let users turn them off, that's why I'm including them on my page.
I'm actually adding stuff here and there that is more or less obvious. I'll probably ditch some and keep others...

Naw, I'm not that much of a curmudgeon. I think they're neat, too, just not compatible with slow circuits. Which I why I like what you've done here. At other sites where I've run into them, the Snap links look just like regular links. That's a real pain when you mouse over one to see where it goes, and suddenly have an empty window pop up.
